After completing this module, students should be able to

• distinguish between a variety of subject-specific terms and concepts;
• use the subject-specific terms appropriately within a lesson plan;
• define the variety of terms in both English and Afrikaans as well as be able to explain the terms acquired so that others understand it as well;
• distinguish between a variety of subject-specific terms and concepts;
• use the subject-specific terms and concepts appropriately within a subject-specific lesson; 
• integrate English with subject-specific knowledge and methodology; 
• understand Content-and-language integrated learning (CLIL) as teaching method; and
• implement specific learning activities to apply CLIL teaching in lessons.
