Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

  • oor ’n gedetailleerde kennisbasis beskik en die vermoë demonstreer om die sleutelterme, konsepte, elemente, reëls, prosesse en prosedures met betrekking tot die finansiële state van ‘n eenmansaak toe te pas; en ’n begrip hiervan in verskillende kontekste kan toon en verstaan hoe dit met ander dissiplines of praktyke verband hou;
  • toegang hê tot die prosessering en bestuur van finansiële inligting om dit te oorweeg, te evalueer en afleidings te maak; gevolgtrekkings reg kan dokumenteer, voorstel en openbaar; en foute in die finansiële state kan identifiseer en volgens vakspesifieke metodes kan regstel;
  • oor die vermoë beskik om finansiële inligting vanaf verskeie bronne in te samel, te organiseer, te analiseer, krities te ondersoek en die resultate individueel en in groepverband te kan kommunikeer; en
  • etiese en professionele praktyk kan toepas om ‘n begrip te demonstreer van besluite se etiese implikasies en optrede binne ‘n professionele konteks; en ‘n begrip hê van etiese kwessies en dilemmas binne die rekeningkundige professie.

After completing this module, students should be able to

  • have a detailed knowledge base and demonstrate the ability to apply the key terms, concepts, elements, rules, processes, and procedures regarding the financial statements of a sole trader; and show an understanding of this knowledge in different contexts and understand how it relates to other disciplines or practices;
  • have access to the processing and the management of financial information to consider this, evaluate this, and draw conclusions; and document, propose, and disclose conclusions correctly and correct them according to subject-specific methods;
  • have the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and critically investigate financial information from various sources and be able to communicate the results individually and in a group setting; and
  • apply ethical and professional practices to demonstrate an understanding of the ethical implications of decisions and actions in a professional context; and understand ethical issues and dilemmas in the accounting profession.
