Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

  • oor die vermoë beskik om ʼn persoonlike raamwerk te vorm om jong leerders met leerbeperkinge in die klaskamer te ondersteun deur verskeie teorieë van leerderhulp te evalueer en ‘n individuele ondersteuningsplan vir die leerder op te stel;
  • kundiges asook die vaardighede waaroor hulle moet beskik wat by leerondersteuning binne die skoolopset betrokke moet wees, kan identifiseer;
  • die manier kan toepas waarop assessering van leerders met leerhindernisse binne die klaskamer by sy/haar leerbehoeftes aangepas moet word;
  • onderrigpraktyke en onderrigstrategieë kan vestig om inklusiewe onderrig in die klaskamer te akkommodeer en te differensieer; en
  • begrip en kennis toon met betrekking tot die hantering van leerders wat hindernisse ervaar deur professionele en etiese gedrag as Christelike voornemende onderwyser teenoor die leerders te toon.

 

 

After completing this module, students should be able to:

  • develop a personal framework to support young learners with learning barriers in the classroom by evaluating various learner support theories and creating an individual support plan for the learner;
  • identify experts and the necessary skills they should possess to be involved in learner support within the school setting;
  • apply the methods for adapting the assessment of learners with learning difficulties in the classroom to meet their learning needs;
  • establish teaching practices and strategies to accommodate and differentiate for inclusive education in the classroom; and
  • demonstrate understanding and knowledge in addressing learners experiencing barriers by showing professional and ethical behaviour as a Christian prospective teacher towards the learners.
