After completing this module, students should be able to

• possess an integrated knowledge base according to which they can demonstrate comprehensive skills regarding the planning and execution of English FAL lessons;
• possess an integrated scope of knowledge according to which they can understand elements of a balanced approach towards the tuition of English FAL; and
• possess an integrated and basic knowledge literacy according to which they can interpret the CAPS regarding English First Additional Language for grades 7-9.
