Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- in staat wees om die jong kind te identifiseer wat nie volgens verwagte mylpale met betrekking tot die fisieke, kognitiewe, normatiewe, sosiale, emosionele en selfstandigheidsnorme ontwikkel nie;
- gedrags- en leerprobleme kan identifiseer binne die onderrig-en-leer-scenario;
- leerders kan erken, verstaan en fasiliteer wat tekens toon van angs, trauma en ander ouderdomstoepaslike hindernisse wat ‘n invloed op leerders in die formele en informele leersituasie kan uitoefen; en
- onderrig-en-leerscenarios kan skep en fasiliteer wat op die diversiteit van leerders in Suid-Afrika fokus en dit omvat.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- recognise the learner who fails to reach expected milestones or outcomes according to expected physical, cognitive, normative, social, emotional and self-reliant norms in the classroom;
- identify learning- and behaviour-related problems within the teaching-and-learning scenario;
- recognise, understand, and facilitate learners showing signs of anxiety, trauma, age-appropriate obstacles, and other factors influencing learners’ lives in the formal and informal learning situation; and
- facilitate and accordingly create teaching-and-learning scenarios that address and include the diversity of learners in South Africa.
