Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

• ingeligte kennis demonstreer van geselekteerde kernareas en aangewese velde, asook die vermoë beskik om terme, begrippe, feite, algemene beginsels, reëls, gevestigde konvensies en teorieë toepaslik toe te pas;
• die tegniek demonstreer om samehangende sinne en paragrawe te skryf;
• die belangrikheid van skryfwerk en die korrekte gebruik van geskrewe paragrawe as 'n instrument verstaan om sodoende doeltreffende skryfvaardighede te ontwikkel;
• die tegniek bemeester om twee of meer tekste te sintetiseer en hul eie skryfwerk hieruit te kan vorm; 'n hulpbron of veelvuldige bronne kan gebruik om oorspronklike denke te ondersteun; en oor die vermoë beskik om effektiewer in Engels te kommunikeer; en
• 'n waardering toon vir die bestaan van tale en die diversiteit daarvan formuleer en kommunikeer deur die krag van die uiteindelike Skepper, ons almagtige God.

After completing this module, students should be able to

• demonstrate an informed knowledge of selected core areas and designated fields and have the ability to apply terms, concepts, facts, general principles, rules, established conventions, and theories appropriately;
• demonstrate the technique of writing coherent sentences and paragraphs;
• understand the importance of writing and the correct use of written paragraphs as a tool for developing efficient writing skills;
• master the technique of synthesising two or more texts and develop their own writing from this process; use a resource or multiple resources, which support original thought; and have the ability to communicate more effectively in English; and
• formulate and communicate an appreciation for languages' existence and the diversity thereof through the power of the ultimate Creator, our almighty God.
