Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

• gedetailleerde kennis kan demonstreer van die Bybelse geskiedenis in die Ou Testamentiese boeke en verstaan hoe dit verband hou met die openbaring van God, die verhouding tussen God en mens, asook die koninkryk van die beloofde Messias;
• die vermoë kan demonstreer om Gereformeerde interpretatiewe metodes toe te pas op die Ou Testamentiese geskiedenisboeke vir ’n Christusgesentreerde perspektief; en
• die vermoë kan demonstreer om op ’n effektiewe wyse komplekse inligting betroubaar en koherent deur te gee deur van gepaste akademiese konvensies gebruik te maak.

After completing this module, students should be able to

• demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Biblical history within the Old Testament books and understands how it relates to the revelation of God, the relationship between God and man as well as the kingdom of the promised Messiah;
• demonstrate the ability to apply Reformed interpretive methods on the Old Testament history books for a Christ-centred perspective; and
• demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate complex information reliably and coherently using appropriate academic conventions.
