Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- begrip van basiese rekenaar- en internetfunksies, insluitend MS Office-programme, kan demonstreer;
- die oorsprong, kernkonsepte en geskiedenis van kunsmatige intelligensie kan verduidelik;
- tussen tipes KI (reëlgebaseerde KI, masjienleer, GenKI, KAI) kan onderskei en die basiese gebruik van ‘n KI-hulpmiddel kan demonstreer;
- etiese kwessies soos privaatheid, vooroordeel en foutiewe inligting binne KI, gegrond op ‘n Christelike raamwerk, kan evalueer;
- die invloed van KI op assesseringspraktyke en akademiese integriteit in hoër onderwys kan verduidelik; en
- ‘n kreatiewe produk kan ontwikkel deur verskeie KI-hulpmiddels te gebruik en oor die leerproses kan reflekteer.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate an understanding of basic computer and internet functions, including MS Office programs;
- explain the origins, core concepts and history of artificial intelligence;
- distinguish between types of AI (rule-based AI, machine learning, GenAI, AGI) and demonstrate the basic use of an AI tool;
- evaluate ethical issues such as privacy, bias and incorrect information within AI, based on a Christian framework;
- explain the influence of AI on assessment practices and academic integrity in higher education; and
- develop a creative product by using various AI tools and reflect on the learning process.
