Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- kurrikulumterminologie krities kan bestudeer: kurrikulumontwikkeling versus kurrikulumontwerp;
- benaderings tot kurrikulumontwikkeling op skoolvlak krities kan bestudeer (op primêre en sekondêre vlak);
- onderrigmetodes kan ondersoek wat in diverse skoolomgewings gebruik kan word deur unieke leeruitkomstes en assesseringstandaarde vir kurrikuluminhoud op skoolvlak te ontwikkel; en
- kennis van die minimumvereistes op tersiêre vlak van onderwysersopleidingsprogramontwikkeling sowel as departementele beleide toon.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- critically engage with curriculum terminology: curriculum development vs. curriculum design;
- critically engage with curriculum development approaches at a school level;
- explore teaching methods for diverse educational milieus by means of developing unique learning outcomes and assessment standards for curriculum content at a school level; and
- demonstrate knowledge of the minimum requirements for teacher education programme development and departmental policies at a tertiary level.
