Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- begrip toon van onderwysteorieë wat as grondslag vir e-leer dien, soos behaviorisme, kognitivisme en konstruktivisme;
- kennis toon van e-leerkonsepte en begrip van e-leertipes sowel as beginsels wat as grondslag vir doeltreffende e-leer dien;
- die vermoë toon om ’n doeltreffende e-leerstrategie binne ’n toepaslike onderwys-konteks te ontwerp; en
- die vermoë toon om ’n reeks gespesialiseerde vaardighede in die veld van e-leer aan te wend ten einde probleme te identifiseer, te analiseer en die hoof te bied deur van e-leeraktiwiteite gebruik te maak.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate an understanding of the educational theories underlying e-learning, such as behaviourism, cognitivism and constructivism;
- demonstrate knowledge of e-learning concepts, understanding types of e-learning, as well as the principles underlying effective e-learning;
- demonstrate the ability to develop an effective e-learning strategy in conjunction with the appropriate educational context; and
- demonstrate the ability to use a range of specialised skills in the field of e-learning to identify, analyse and address problems through the use of e-learning activities.
