Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module moet studente

  • die vermoë kan toon om in gesprek te tree met ‘n belangrike boek, denker, teorie of probleem vanuit ‘n Reformatories-Christelike perspektief;
  • met studiemateriaal kan omgaan deur toepaslike navorsingsmetodes (d.w.s. ontleding, sintese en evaluasie) op ‘n klassieke boek, denker, teorie of probleem toe te pas;
  • hul eie leer en etiese gedrag in die akademiese omgewing kan bestuur deur samelewings- en kultuuraspekte met sensitiwiteit te benader;
  • Reformatories-Christelike denke kan toepas deur alternatiewe strategieë te ontwikkel met betrekking tot die sekulêre hoofstroom ten einde probleme te hanteer wat die wêreld ervaar; en
  • rekenskap kan gee van nuwe insigte en begrip in verslae en/of aanbiedings wat op bewyse gegrond is.

 

After completing this module, students should be able to 

  • demonstrate the ability to enter into a conversation with a salient book, scholar, theory or problem from a Reformational-Christian viewpoint;
  • engage with study material by applying appropriate research methods (i.e. analysing, synthesising and evaluating) to a classic book, scholar, theory or problem;
  • manage own learning and portray ethical behaviour within the academic environment with sensitivity towards societal and cultural considerations; and
  • apply Reformational-Christian thinking by generating alternative strategies with regard to the secular mainstream for dealing with problems the world experiences; and
  • give an account of new insight and understanding in evidence-based reports and/or presentations.
