Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- die aardrykskunde-konsepte sowel as die aardrykskunde-vaardighede kan beskryf wat met Wiskunde as vakgebied geïntegreer is en wat die graad R-leerder ook self moet kan bemeester en ontwikkel;
- toepaslike leerervarings kan skep vir die graad R-leerder in areas waar Aardrykskunde met Wiskunde geïntegreer is;
- motoriese vaardighede en perseptuele vaardighede in die graad R-program kan ontwikkel deur dit met ‘n wiskundige benadering te integreer;
- op ‘n ontwikkelingsgepaste wyse Wiskunde-onderrig en -leer in die graad R-klaskamer kan beplan deur na die korrekte metodes en werkswyses te verwys;
- toepaslike leerervarings vir Natuurwetenskap in graad R met die korrekte wiskundige onderrig-en-leer-metodes en -werkswyses kan integreer;
- begrip vir die basiese musieknotasies kan toon en dit met wiskundige leerervarings in die graad R-klaskamer integreer; en
- die beginsels van dans (ritmiese beweging) in die graad R-musiekprogram kan ondersoek en daardie beginsels met Wiskunde integreer.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- describe the concepts and skills in geography that integrate with the subject area of Mathematics and thus must also be mastered and developed by the grade R learner;
- create appropriate learning experiences for the grade R learner where geography integrates with Mathematics;
- develop motor and perceptual skills in the grade R programme by integrating them with a mathematical approach;
- plan the teaching of Mathematics in the grade R classroom in a development-appropriate manner by referring to the correct methods and procedures;
- integrate appropriate learning experiences in Natural Sciences for grade R with the correct mathematical methods and procedures for teaching and learning;
- show an understanding of the basic music notations and integrate them with learning experiences in Mathematics in the grade R classroom; and
- investigate the principles of dancing (rhythmic movement) in the Grade R Music Programme and integrate those principles with Mathematics.
