After completing this module, students should be able to

• demonstrate knowledge literacy according to which they demonstrate understanding of the aspects that have to be included in a comprehensive English FAL lesson plan;
• implement methods and procedures enabling them to demonstrate understanding of assessment methods, assessments instruments, and assessment types;
• display a scope of knowledge enabling them to demonstrate knowledge of the central areas so that they can formulate an opinion regarding the tuition of English as a FAL and evaluate approaches to the tuition of English as a FAL;
• possess literacy knowledge with which they can demonstrate and understand the elements of a balanced approach towards the tuition of an additional language; and
• demonstrate understanding of various assessment methods, assessment instruments, and assessment types.
