Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- strategieë formuleer en ontwikkel om aktiwiteite te beplan om verskillende aspekte van 'n addisionele taal te onderrig;
- natuurlike en genotvolle integrasie van onderrigmetodes by die addisionele taal identifiseer en ekstrapoleer om voorsiening te maak vir 'n verskeidenheid leerders sowel as omstandighede;
- die effektiefste onderrigmetodes fasiliteer wat onderskeidelik vir grade 4 en 5 gebruik word;
- 'n les kan beplan wat op die vier noodsaaklike taalvaardighede gebaseer is deur die voorgestelde metodes in te sluit;
- betekenisvolle assesseringstake vir graad 4- en 5-leerders onthou en verstaan; en
- effektiewe graadtoepaslike assesseringsinstrumente, bv. rubrieke, memorandums, ens. vir 'n verskeidenheid assesseringstake kan identifiseer, bespreek en gebruik.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- formulate and develop strategies to plan activities to teach different aspects of writing and presenting in an additional language;
- identify and extrapolate natural and enjoyable integration of teaching methods into the additional language to cater for a variety of learners as well as circumstances;
- facilitate the most effective teaching methods used for grades 4 to 6 respectively;
- plan a lesson based on the four essential language skills by incorporating the methods suggested;
- understand and remember meaningful assessment tasks for grade 4 to 6 learners; and
- identify, discuss, and use effective grade appropriate assessment tools, e.g. rubrics, memorandums, etc., for various assessment tasks.
