Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente:
- leerders kan identifiseer wat spesifieke leerhindernisse in ’n Intermediêre Fase-klaskamer ervaar;
- strategieë en materiaal vir onderrig en leer kan beplan en ontwikkel om as deel van gedifferensieerde onderrig in ’n Intermediêre Fase-klaskamer te implementeer;
- oor die vermoë beskik om onderrigmetodes sowel as assesseringsmetodes te selekteer, te evalueer en toe te pas sodat leerders met diverse leerbehoeftes weens hindernisse en/of uitdagings wat hulle ondervind suksesvol ingesluit kan word ten einde ook inklusiewe onderrigpraktyke te bevorder;
- ’n individuele ondersteuningsplan (ISP: “individual support plan”) kan beplan en ontwikkel vir ’n leerder wat leerhindernisse in die Intermediêre Fase-klaskamer ervaar; en
- ’n gedetailleerde verslag kan saamstel oor die assessering en ondersteuning van ’n leerder wat leerhindernisse ervaar.

After completing this module, students will be able to
- identify learners experiencing specific learning barriers in a classroom within the Intermediate Phase;
- plan and develop strategies and materials for teaching and learning as part of differentiated instruction in a classroom within the Intermediate Phase;
- have the ability to select, evaluate, and apply teaching methods as well as assessment methods to successfully include learners with diverse learning needs due to barriers and/or challenges they encounter in order to promote inclusive teaching practices;
- plan and develop an individual support plan (ISP) for a learner experiencing learning barriers in a classroom within the Intermediate Phase; and
- compile a detailed report on the assessment and support of a learner experiencing learning barriers.
