Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

• insig kan toon in die grootsheid van God se skepping en die wyse waarop Hy dit onderhou; en begrip kan toon ten opsigte van die mens se verantwoordelikheid teenoor die skepping en die ontwikkeling en gebruik van materie en materiale;
• ’n fundamentele kennis demonstreer van die kernareas en sleutelbegrippe, konsepte, feite, algemene beginsels, reëls en teorieë met betrekking tot die eienskappe van materie en materiale; en
• standaardmetodes, -prosedures en -tegnieke selekteer om materie en materiale te prosesseer om objekte en strukture te maak wat aan mense se behoeftes voldoen en die kwaliteit van hul lewens verbeter; en die tegniese aspekte van verwerking en strukture wat verband hou met materie en materiale kan ondersoek en implementeer.

After completing this module, students should be able to

• show insight into the greatness of God’s creation and how He maintains it; and show understanding with regard to man’s responsibility towards creation and the development and use of matter and materials;
• demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the core areas and key ideas, concepts, facts, general principles, rules and theories with regard to the characteristics of matter and materials; and
• select standard methods, procedures and techniques to process matter and materials for making objects and structures that meet people’s needs and improve the quality of their lives; and investigate and implement the technical aspects of processing and structures relating to matter and materials.
