Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- insig daarin toon dat natuurwetenskappe en tegnologie by uitstek handel oor God se skepping;
- voorgeskrewe en selfgeselekteerde bronne kan raadpleeg en inligting oor wetenskap-geletterdheid en die implementering van betekenisvolle wetenskaponderrig kan selekteer, analiseer, sintetiseer, evalueer en ’n verslag daaroor skryf;
- ’n duidelike begrip kan demonstreer van die kernareas en sleutelbegrippe, konsepte, feite, algemene beginsels, reëls en teorieë met betrekking tot materie en materiale; en standaardmetodes, -prosedures en –tegnieke kan kies om die tegniese aspekte van struktuur en verwerkings wat verband hou met materie en materiale te ondersoek en te implementeer;
- kennis en begrip kan demonstreer ten opsigte van die heelal, die Melkweg en die sonnestelsel; en die relatiewe posisie van die Son, Aarde en Maan in die stelsel kan beskryf;
- ‘n duidelike begrip kan demonstreer van die kernareas en sleutelbegrippe, konsepte, feite, algemene beginsels, reëls en teorieë met betrekking tot energie en energie-oordrag; en
- ‘n duidelike begrip kan demonstreer van die kernareas en sleutelbegrippe, konsepte, feite, algemene beginsels, reëls en teorieë met betrekking tot lewe en lewende dinge.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- show insight that natural sciences and technology are eminently about God’s creation;
- refer to prescribed and self-selected sources and select, analyse, synthesise and evaluate information and write a report on science literacy and the implementation of meaningful science teaching;
- demonstrate a clear understanding of the core areas and key ideas, concepts, facts, general principles, rules and theories regarding matter and materials; and select standard methods, procedures and techniques to investigate and implement the technical aspects of structure and processing regarding matter and materials;
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the universe, the Milky Way and the solar system; and describe the relative position of the Sun, Earth and Moon in this system;
- demonstrate a clear understanding of the core areas and key ideas, concepts, facts, general principles, rules and theories with regard to energy and energy transfer; and
- demonstrate a clear understanding of the core areas and key ideas, concepts, facts, general principles, rules, and theories regarding life and living things.
