Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- GIK en PIK toon van taalassesseringsinstrumente sowel as benaderings om spesifieke hindernisse met betrekking tot taal te identifiseer en analiseer;
- GIK en PIK toon rakende die gebruik van assesseringsinstrumente en -benaderings in taal om geïntegreerde, geïndividualiseerde onderrig-en-leer-ondersteuningsprogramme in ʼn inklusiewe klaskamer te bevorder en implementeer;
- geïndividualiseerde onderrig-en-leerprogramme kan ontwikkel wat op Vygotsky se steierwerk en Piaget se teorie oor kognitiewe ontwikkeling gebaseer is;
- ʼn goed geïntegreerde begrip toon van hul eie oriëntasie, waardes en houdings teenoor leerders wat leerhindernisse in taal ondervind;
- ʼn goed geïntegreerde begrip van hul eie oriëntasie, waardes en houding teenoor die ontwikkeling van ʼn geïntegreerde leerondersteuningskurrikulum toon;
- ʼn wye verskeidenheid van gespesialiseerde vaardighede kan toepas om komplekse leerhindernisse in taal te identifiseer, assesseer en analiseer; en
- etiese en professionele standaarde kan toepas wanneer besluite binne ʼn ondersteunende, fasiliterende en beradingsomgewing geneem word.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate SCK and PCK of language assessment tools as well as approaches to identifying and analysing specific barriers related to language;
- demonstrate SCK and PCK regarding the use of assessment tools and approaches in language to promote and implement integrated, individualised teaching and learning support programs in an inclusive classroom;
- develop individualised teaching and learning programs based on Vygotsky's scaffolding and Piaget's theory of cognitive development;
- demonstrate a well-integrated understanding of their own orientation, values, and attitudes towards learners experiencing language learning barriers;
- demonstrate a well-integrated understanding of their own orientation, values, and attitudes towards the development of an integrated learning support curriculum;
- apply a wide range of specialised skills to identifying, assessing, and analysing complex learning barriers in language; and
- adhere to ethical and professional standards when making decisions in a supportive, facilitative, and counselling environment.
