Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- GIK en PIK toon van wiskunde-assesseringsinstrumente sowel as benaderings om spesifieke hindernisse met betrekking tot wiskunde te identifiseer en analiseer;
- GIK en PIK toon rakende die opstel van geïntegreerde, geïndividualiseerde onderrig-en-leer-ondersteuningsprogramme in wiskunde ten einde inklusiwiteit in die klaskamer te bevorder en te implementeer;
- geïndividualiseerde wiskunde-onderrig-en-leer-programme kan ontwikkel wat op Vygotsky se steierwerkteorie en Piaget se teorie oor kognitiewe ontwikkeling gebaseer is;
- ‘n goed geïntegreerde begrip toon van hul eie oriëntasie, waardes en houdings teenoor leerders wat leerhindernisse in wiskunde ondervind;
- ‘n wye verskeidenheid van gespesialiseerde vaardighede kan toepas om komplekse leerhindernisse in wiskunde te identifiseer, assesseer en analiseer; en
- etiese en professionele standaarde kan toepas wanneer besluite binne ‘n ondersteunende, fasiliterende en inklusiewe wiskundeklaskamer geneem word.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate SCK and PCK of mathematics assessment tools as well as approaches to identify and analyse specific barriers related to mathematics;
- demonstrate SCK and PCK in designing integrated, individualised teaching and learning support programs in mathematics to promote and implement inclusivity in the classroom;
- develop individualised mathematics teaching and learning programs based on Vygotsky’s scaffolding theory and Piaget’s theory of cognitive development;
- demonstrate a well-integrated understanding of their own orientation, values, and attitudes toward learners experiencing barriers to learning in mathematics;
- apply a wide range of specialised skills to identify, assess, and analyse complex learning barriers in mathematics; and
- adhere to ethical and professional standards when making decisions within a supportive, facilitative, and inclusive mathematics classroom.
