Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- diepgaande kennis van en betrokkenheid by onderwysbestuursteorie as die grondslag van doeltreffende bestuurspraktyke in skole kan toon;
- diepgaande kennis van ’n verskeidenheid van bestuurskwessies/-take soos besluitneming, delegering, probleemoplossing en beleidmaking binne die skoolbestuurskonteks kan toon;
- ’n verskeidenheid van gespesialiseerde vaardighede kan gebruik om komplekse probleme met betrekking tot skoolbestuur te identifiseer, te analiseer en die hoof te bied; en
- bestuurstake/-funksies kan toepas om skoolverbetering te bestuur.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate in-depth knowledge of and engagement with education management theory as the basis of effective management practices in schools;
- interrogate multiple sources of knowledge with regard to leadership tasks, such as communication, motivation, and bringing about change;
- identify, analyse and address complex problems regarding school leadership;
- interrogate educational leadership theories, styles, and practices from a Christian perspective; and
- design a framework for a Christian approach to school leadership.
