Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente
- die vermoë demonstreer om ’n persoonlike wêreldbeskouing en filosofiese raamwerk met betrekking tot die onderwys te formuleer;
- kennis demonstreer van en betrokke wees by prominente filosofiese, pedagogiese tekste en denkers asook kontemporêre onderwysteorieë oor kwessies soos onderrig en leer, skole en die kurrikulum, wat ’n gesprek vanuit ’n Christelike perspektief op die onderwys sal insluit; en
- die vermoë toon om te kommunikeer en idees en teorieë oor die onderwys aan te bied deur kreatiewe insigte, akkurate interpretasies en oplossings vir probleme en kwessies wat binne die Suid-Afrikaanse konteks ter sake is op ’n doeltreffende wyse te bied.

After completing this module, students should be able to
- demonstrate the ability to formulate a personal worldview and philosophical framework with regard to education;
- demonstrate knowledge of and engagement with prominent philosophical educational texts and thinkers as well as contemporary educational theories on issues such as teaching and learning, schools, and the curriculum, which will include a conversation with a Christian perspective on education; and
- demonstrate the ability to communicate and present ideas and theories on education by effectively offering creative insights, accurate interpretations and solutions to problems and issues appropriate to the South-African context.
