Ná die voltooiing van hierdie module sal studente

• ’n kennisbasis opbou in die Filosofie van die Opvoedkunde op grond waarvan hulle in staat is om vorige kennis wat reeds opgebou is oor die Opvoedkunde te kan integreer binne die Filosofie van die Opvoedkunde;
• begrip toon en oor die vermoë beskik om die sleutelterme, konsepte, feite, beginsels en teorieë van die Filosofie van die Opvoedkunde te kan toepas;
• oor metodes en werkswyses beskik wat gebruik kan word om die tetiese en antitese-metode te kan toepas in hul beoordeling en evaluering van verskillende opvoedkundige teorieë; 
• etiese en professionele praktyk kan toepas op grond waarvan hulle die vermoë demonstreer om besluite te neem en eties en professioneel op te tree; en
• inligting kan skep en kommunikeer wat hulle kan gebruik om hul filosofie, idees en menings te ontwikkel en in die samestelling van ‘n kurrikulum te kommunikeer.

After completing this module, students should be able to

• possess a knowledge base of the Philosophy of Education to empower them to integrate any prior knowledge about Education within the Philosophy of Education;
• display an understanding and have the ability to apply key terminology, concepts, facts, principles, and theories regarding the Philosophy of Education;
• possess methods and procedures that may be used to apply thetical and antithetical methods in their assessment and evaluation of various educational theories;
• apply ethical and professional practice based on their ability to make decisions and act ethically and professionally; and
• create and communicate information that can be used in their philosophy to develop philosophies, ideas, and opinions and communicate them when compiling a curriculum.
